The Hopkins men's cross country continued its historical season, capturing the program's first-ever NCAA Mideast Regional Championship today with 62 points.       Hopkins Men's Cross Country History and Tradition
      The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team has seen a resurgence of success in recent seasons, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in 2011 and 2012 - the program's first appearance at the NCAAs since 1977. Head Coach Bobby Van Allen has also guided the Blue Jays to five finishes in the top three at the Centennial Conference Championships in the last six years; prior to this JHU had placed higher than fifth just twice in the previous 14 years.
