In addition, Cavallo is now ranked seventh in the nation by the NWCA at 133 pounds; he was not previously ranked by the NWCA this season, but was ranked 10th by D3wrestle.com in its most recent rankings, which were released on December 6.
Cavallo fueled Johns Hopkins' 25-20 victory against nationally-ranked NYU in the Grapple at the Garden on Sunday, December 10 with a second-period pin against Matt Noble, who entered the match at 7-0 on the year and ranked sixth in the nation by the NWCA and eighth by D3wrestle.com.
