BALTIMORE, MD - On Saturday October 28, 2006, the Johns Hopkins wrestling team will host the 2nd Annual Black and Blue Brawl, an intra-squad match to help determine the starters for the 2006-2007 wrestling season.

The event, with free admission and open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 1 pm on the Goldfarb Gym floor, the home of the wrestling Blue Jays. This event will allow the team to compete in front of a crowd for the first time this season. There will be plenty of excitement on the mat as the fans gets a chance to preview the 2006-07 Johns Hopkins wrestling team.

Following the meet, second year head coach Keith Norris will host a free wrestling clinic, open to any wrestler in attendance.

The Blue Jay grapplers open the season on November 4 at the Messiah Tournament in Grantham, PA. Hopkins will be at home for the first time against Division I opponent James Madison on November 26.
