BALTIMORE - On Sunday October 30, the Johns Hopkins wrestling team will host the Black and Blue Brawl, an intra-squad match to determine the starters for the 2005-06 wrestling season.
The event, free of admission and open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m on the Goldfarb Gym floor, the home of the wrestling Blue Jays. Winners of each match will earn starting positions to begin the 2005-06 campaign.
Following the meet, first year head coach Keith Norris will host a free wrestling clinic, open to any wrestler in attendance.
The Blue Jay grapplers open the season on November 5 at the Messiah Tournament. Hopkins will be at home for the first time in a Centennial Conference meet against Ursinus, Gettysburg and Muhlenberg on January 21.
