Fan Guide to the 2013 Centennial Conference Wrestling Championships

Johns Hopkins University is pleased to be hosting the 2013 Centennial Conference Wrestling Championships. The one-day event will take place in Goldfarb Gymnasium, which is located in the Newton White Athletic Center on the Homewood campus. Wrestling starts at 10 am on Saturday and continues through the day with the crowning of the team and individual champions.

Below is helpful information as you prepare for your trip to Baltimore as well as information on how to follow the results if you are unable to attend.

Tournament Location
All matches will take place in Goldfarb Gymnasium and the Auxiliary Gymnasium in the Newton White Athletic Center. Directions can be found here.

Presentation of the individual awards will take place during the championship round (125 awards will be presented after the 133 bouts ... 133 awards will be presented after the 141 bouts, etc.).

Presentation of the Most Outstanding Wrestler and Chris Clifford Awards and the team champion trophy will take place at the conclusion of the championship bout at 285.

Parking
Along with various metered spots around campus, there are several lots surrounding Homewood Field. Parents and fans will be directed to either the metered locations, San Martin Garage or Space Telescope. Hopkins Parking Services will be located at most lots surrounding the stadium and will be charge for parking. Please note, there is a home men's lacrosse game at 1:00 p.m. and a home women's lacrosse game at 4:00 p.m. Parking will be limited to accommodate those permit holders.

There is plenty of parking available on the Johns Hopkins University campus. However, most lots will require fans to make a short walk (5 minutes) from the parking lot to the Newton White Athletic Center.

The San Martin Garage (#32 on linked map) is highly recommended to all fans attending the 2013 Centennial Conference Wrestling Championships.  From University Parkway, fans should proceed all the way around San Martin Drive to Wyman Park Drive.  There, fans will make a right and then another quick right and park in the garage (THERE WILL BE A FEE TO PARK).  Fans can then walk quickly from the garage to the Newton White Athletic Center.

Tickets
Admission will be charged for this Centennial Conference Championship and doors will open 1 hour prior to the start of the first match. Tickets will be available to purchase until the Championship Bouts begin.

$5.00 - Adults
$3.00 - Children 13-18 and Senior Citizens
Ages 2 years and under are free.
Students from participating schools with school ID are Free

Live Video
Johns Hopkins will provide live video of the championship matches only. Click here to watch the 10 championship bouts. The championship round should begin at approximately 4:30 pm.

Hotel Information
Fans visiting Baltimore to attend the 2013 Centennial Conference Wrestling Championships who need overnight accommodations are encouraged to contact one of the three hotels below to make reservations. While there is no special rate for this event, these partner hotels do offer a special Johns Hopkins rate. Fans should inquire about this rate when making their reservation.
