BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins senior Sean McCreery (Pleasant Hill, CA/ De La Salle) and junior Peter Davis (Riverside, CT/Greenwich) earned First Team All-America honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches this week. The pair led Johns Hopkins to a 16-15 record with a second place finish at the 2007 Southern Championships. Under head coach Ted Bresnahan, 11 players have combined to earn 24 All-America honors since 1996.

McCreery becomes just the second player in program history to earn First Team All-America honors three times. A two-time Division III Player of the Year, he led the Blue Jays with 93 goals this season. He finished his career with 310 goals, ranking him fourth in program history. He also owns three of the top-four single season goal totals in JHU history. In his four seasons, the Blue Jays posted a 73-53 record with three Division III Eastern Championships.

Davis earns All-America honors for the second straight season after earning second team honors in 2006. He finished the 2007 season with 56 goals, second behind McCreery, and now ranks seventh in school history with 166 career goals. Davis also earned Second Team All-South honors this season, a first in his career.
