Bartnett Captures the Honor for the Third Time in his Career
Senior Andrew Bartnett was named the Mideast Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Tuesday night. Award winners were determined by a vote of USTFCCCA member coaches following a nomination period.

Mosser Set Program Record in 400m Hurdles
Johns Hopkins sophomore Grant Mosser broke his own school record in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 53.62 at the Widener Mideast Invitational. Senior Jesse Poore ran the second-fastest time in the 400 meter dash in Blue Jay history with a personal record of 48.51.

Su Named Rookie Performer of the Year
Johns Hopkins freshman Matthew Su has been named the Centennial Conference Rookie Performer of the Year for the outdoor season, the conference office announced Wednesday. Eight Blue Jays join Su on the All-Centennial first team squad, while head coach Bobby Van Allen has earned Coach of the Year honors for the second straight season.

Hopkins Wins Fourth-Straight Centennial Outdoor Championships With Record Points
Mollick Led JHU with 100 and 200 Meter Dash Wins
The Johns Hopkins men’s track & field team won its fourth-straight Centennial Conference Championships, amassing 269.5 points, the most points in Centennial Championship history. Hopkins captured six titles on the final day of competition, led by Alex Mollick who won both the 100 meter and 200 meter dash and ran the second leg of the 4x400 meter relay, which won gold to close out the 2017 Centennial Conference Championships.

Fischetti, Su Highlight Day Two of Centennial Championships
Fischetti Won the Decathlon Title, Su Broke Long Jump Record For Gold
A pair of Blue Jays earned Centennial Conference Championships Saturday, leading Hopkins to a 45-point lead over Dickinson through two days. Matt Fischetti earned the decathlon victory with 5600 points, while Grant Mosser claimed second place in the decathlon. Freshman Matt Su broke a longstanding Hopkins record to win the long jump title with a distance of 7.05m.
