Day One Results

The Basics
• Location: Baltimore, MD • ECAC Championships
• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men’s track & field team finished day one of the ECAC Championships with 35 points as the Blue Jays lead PSU-Behrend by five points.

How it Happened
• In the decathlon, Grant Mosser earned a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.65 to earn 721 points. He also notched a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.10m to add 608 points to his day one total. In the shot put, the junior earned a fourth-place finish with a throw of 9.24m which added 440 points to his total. He finished the day with 1,769 points.
• Senior Louis Levine won the 10k with a time of 32:05.57, which was almost a full minute faster than the second place finisher.
Marshall Demaree earned a third-place finish in the steeplechase with a time of 9:42.51.
• In the 5k, Jeff Braun and Liam Wall finished third and fourth with times of 15:46.31 and 15:59.95, respectively.
• Senior Zach Jacobson finished second in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.71m.
