COLLEGE PARK, MD - Five members Johns Hopkins track and field teams ran at the Maryland Twilight meet. The highlight of the meet was on the women's side, as Cecilia Furlong broke her own school record with a time of 10:58.20 in the 3000m steeplechase.

On the men's side, Elliot Wehner came within 0.03 seconds of the school record in the 800m run with a time of 1:53.80. Wehner finished fourth in a very strong field of runners. The school record was set 28 years ago by Bob Wilson.

Mickey Borsellino ran the men's 800m with a time of 2:02.09.

Luke Sand had a throw in the discus of 42.10m while Ryan Lino tossed the shot put 13.19m.

Maryland won the meet on both the men's (117 points) and women's (234 points) sides. The majority of schools competing, however, did not bring their full squads.
