SHIPPENSBURG, PA - The Johns Hopkins men's track and field team competed at the Paul Kaiser Track Classic hosted by Shippensburg University on Saturday. The meet was comprised of teams from both the Division I and III levels of competition.

Hopkins' junior Tristan Thomas finished fourth in the 100-meter dash on Saturday. Thomas ran an 11.25 in the finals after posting an 11.24 in the preliminaries. Thomas posted another top ten finish on the day, as he was sixth in the 200-meter dash. He crossed the line with a 22.80 in that race.

Gordon Mack finished ninth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.79. The 4x100 relay team of Jason Dubyoski, Thomas, Pierre Hage and James Walker was fourth with a time of 43.57 in their event. Sophomore Peter Li was sixth in the shot put with a toss of 13.83m.

The Blue Jays are back in action on May 4th when the Centennial Conference Championships begin, that meet will be hosted by Haverford College.
