The Basics
• Location: Birmingham, AL (Birmingham-Southern College)
• The Short Story: Grant Mosser finished 10th in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III National Championships in Birmingham, AL.

How it Happened
• Mosser opened the day in ninth place with 2,633 points. He started the day with the 60-meter hurdles where he finished 11th with a time of 9.09 for 726 points and in the pole vault he finished tenth with a mark of 3.70m for 535 points. His later notched a third-place finish in the 1,000-meter run as he finished with a time of 2:41.22 to add 860 points to his total, and he earned a seventh-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.49 meters for 695 points. For the event he finished with 4,754 points which put him tenth overall.
