MIDDLETOWN, CT - The Johns Hopkins men's indoor track and field team competed at day one of the ECAC Championships on Friday.

Junior Patrick Brandon was the Blue Jays top finisher as he was 14th in the 5,000 meters on Friday. Brandon completed the race with a time of 15:31.90. Adam Waddell finished 11th in the pole vault with a leap of 4.43m. Waddell set a new school indoor record for the pole vault with that leap.

The 4x200 relay team finished 10th with a time of 1:34.30 while the distance medley relay team was 12th with a time of 10:37.40. The distance medley team was composed of James Bronson, Christo Tait, Nate Sotuyo and Noah Jampol.

The Blue Jays will be back in action on day two of the ECAC Championships. Saturday's action kicks off at 11 a.m.
