HAVERFORD, PA - Johns Hopkins sophomore Jesse Poore bested the competition in the men's Long Jump event at the McElligott Invitational, as he jumped 6.39m (20-11.75) en route to a first place finish.

In the Triple Jump, Harpreet Gill recorded a personal-best result of 12.57m (41-3). Gill outdid her prior personal best of 12.26, which he recorded last weekend at the Patriot Games. Gill's feat tonight was good enough to earn him a second place finish in the event.

Geoffrey Kazlow, a freshman from Moretown, VT, finished fifth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:53.22. The time was a personal-best and the finish was the best of his young career. Teammate Doran Walsten also competed in the event and clocked a personal-best time of 16:09.53. The time is more than 21 seconds better than his previous top time in the event.

In the 200 meter, junior Corbyn Yhap finished with a time of 24.45, good for ninth place in a deep field. Yhap also competed in the 60-meter dash, and posted a career-best time of 7.42. His previous top-time was 7.61.
