HAVERFORD, PA - The Johns Hopkins men's track and field team competed at the Seamus McElligot Invitational hosted by Haverford College on Saturday. Strong performances by James Shim and Jason Dubyoski highlighted the day's action for the Blue Jays.

Shim won the long jump with a leap of 6.41m while Dubyoski finished second in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.12. Matt Trachtenberg gave the Blue Jays a second place finish in the high jump at 1.77m.

Trachtenberg tied with teammate Matt Smith who also leaped 1.77m. Peter Li finished second in the shot put at 14.07m and Arun Jose was second in the triple jump at 11.65m.

The 4x400 relay team finished third at 3:34.19. James Walker finished second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 51.79.

The Blue Jays are back in action on February 3rd at the Frank Colden Invitational in Collegeville, PA.
