Hopkins Men's Track History and Tradition
The Johns Hopkins men's track program has been on the rise for the last several years under the direction of head coach Bobby Van Allen. The Blue Jays won the program's first Centennial Conference Indoor Championship in 2013 and followed that with titles at the 2014 CC Indoor and Outdoor Championships. In May 2014, Andrew Carey won the program’s first individual NCAA title at the outdoor championship when he captured the 800-meter title. In addition to the team success, the Blue Jays have produced five CoSIDA Academic All-District selections since 2010 and 41 All-Centennial selections during the 3-14 indoor/outdoor seasons alone.
