BALTIMORE, MD - Freshmen Chanont Vasoontara and Kevin Ma were among six singles players named to the 2005 All-Centennial Conference Team, while Vasoontara and classmate Matthew Naftilan were one of three pairs selected to the All-Centennial Team at doubles.

Vasoontara finished the regular conference season with a 6-1 record at first singles, and earned the top seed at the Centennial Conference Championships. He won four straight matches at the tournament en route to the championship title.

Ma went 8-0 in Centennial play, including a 6-0 mark at second singles, before losing his first match of the conference tournament.

Vasoontara and Naftilan went 5-1 at first doubles against conference opponents, and advanced to the championship match at the CC tournament last weekend.

The Blue Jays won the regular season conference championship with an 8-0 record against CC teams.
