LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins freshman Jeremy Dubin named Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week it was announced Monday. Since the Blue Jays' kicked off their spring campaign, Dubin is 3-1 at fourth singles and 1-0 at third doubles to help Hopkins to a 3-1 record and a program-best finish runner-up finish at the 2014 ITA National Team Indoor Championship.

Dubins' three-set win clinched the 6-3 win versus sixth-ranked Emory in the opening round of the ITA National Indoor Championship. The next day, he won in straight sets to help Hopkins come from behind for a 6-3 win over 13th-ranked Case Western. His only loss was a tough three-setter in the championship match as JHU lost 6-3 to fourth-ranked Washington University. Dubin then helped Hopkins to a 9-0 win over W&L on Sunday. He partnered with junior Tanner Brown for an 8-1 win at third doubles. He then lost just four games en route to a straight sets win that clinched the match for the Blue Jays.

Dubin is 11-3 overall in singles so far this season and 2-1 in doubles. Hopkins is back in action on March 21 as the Blue Jays take on the 23rd-ranked Bates Bobcats in Fredericksburg, VA. The match is slated to start at 4:00 pm.
