Best Win Yet: The men's swimming team defeated Yale 136-126 at home on Nov. 23 for the program's biggest win in recent history. The Bulldogs are consistently a top team in the Division I Ivy League. Hopkins had eight first-place finishes at the meet.

Breaking Records: Matt Fedderly set the Johns Hopkins record in the 200 IM (1:52.61) and Jessica Chang set the school mark in the 100 breast (1:05.25) at the Miami Invitational last weekend.

The Miami Way: As usual, Johns Hopkins qualified a number of swimmers for the NCAA Championships during the annual Miami (Ohio) Invitational.Thirteen men and eight women set qualifying times or improved their qualifying times from earlier meets this season, as well as the men's and women's 200 and 400 medley and 800 free relays. Seven men and two women had A-cut times, guaranteeing themselves NCAA appearances.
