BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins men's swimmer Dylan Cogginhas been named the Counsilman Hunsaker National Swimmer of the Week for Division III. He helped Hopkins to a 205.5-56.5 win over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, October 27 as the Blue Jays remained unbeaten (2-0) on the season.

Coggin opened the meet with by leading off the winning 200 Medley Relay team with a leg of 24.62 as his team won with a time of 1:35.21. He followed with a third place finish in the 200 Free in 1:45.44. In the 50 Free, he swam exhibition but had the top time as he touched in 21.04. Coggin then won the 100 Back with a time of 53.54. He closed out the day with a second-place finish in the 400 Free Relay. He led off the relay with a time of 46.79, the best lead off leg of the six relay teams.

Hopkins returns to the pool on Friday, November 2 for Loyola's annual Thomas Murphy Invitational, which is set to begin at 5:00 pm.
