BALTIMORE, MD - Seven-time All-American Dani Korman has joined the Johns Hopkins swimming staff as an assistant coach in 2008-09. She comes to Johns Hopkins from Carthage College where she obtained her master's degree in guidance and counseling while serving as an assistant coach before being promoted to interim head coach.

A 2006 graduate of Kenyon College, Korman was a member of four national championship teams with the Lords. Team captain as a junior and senior, she stills hold the North Coast Athletic Conference record in the 200 Fly (2:05.34). A four-time team champion in the NCAC, she medaled in the 200 Fly three times and the 100 Fly twice. Korman captured the 200 Fly title in 2005 with her record-breaking swim.

Korman is also the coordinator for CollegeSwimming.com's National Swimmer of the Week award and is an assistant swim coach and counselor for the University of Texas/Total Performance Swim Camp.
