CHARLOTTE, NC - The 2014 Bluegrass Mountain Conference (BMC) Championship has been pushed back from its normal Wednesday start to a Friday start due to an impending winter storm, slated to hit the area beginning Wednesday. The championship will now run Friday to Sunday, instead of the usual Wednesday to Saturday.

Friday's competition will begin at 1:00 pm with the 1000 Free. The second session will begin at 5:00 pm, starting with the 200 Free Relay. A complete schedule of events, along with links for live video and live results, can be found here.

The Johns Hopkins women's swim team (6-2) is seeking its 13th overall conference championship and first since 2012. The Blue Jay women have won five BMC titles since joining the conference in 2005, with three straight from 2006 to 2008 and back-to-back championships in 2011 and 2012. Hopkins finished as the runner-up in 2013 and claimed two individual and two relay titles while breaking eight school records in the process.

The Johns Hopkins men's swim team (7-1) is in search of its school-record 33rd conference title and first since 2006. The Blue Jays finished third at last year's championship while claiming one individual title and breaking two school records. The Blue Jay men joined the conference in 2010 and have finished no lower than third at each championship.
