Final Stats

BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins men's swim team concluded its dual meet schedule for the season on Saturday in a 130-97 loss to perennial NCAA power Kenyon. The Lords have won 26 consecutive national championships. The loss for Hopkins was the first against a Division III opponent since the 1989-90 season, a 65 dual meet win streak.

Senior Sean Kim and sophomores Ryan Kim and Brad Test swam to first place finishes in the loss. Sean Kim won the 200 Fly in a time of 1:53.59, beating Kenyon's Carroll Bullock who finished in 1:54.33. Ryan Kim took first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:55.47, finishing just 0.42 seconds ahead of Kenyon's Ryan Volsen. Test swam to first in the 100 Free in a time of 46.66, beating out Jimmy Berger who finished in 47.01.

The relay team of Kim, senior Tyler Harris, Kim and Test finished second in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 3:27.62. Test also took second in the 50 Free (20.80) while Ryan Kim finished in second in the 200 Back (1:53.97).

The swim team returns to action on Feb. 24-26 at the ECAC Championships in Pittsburgh, PA.
