BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team will travel to top-ranked Messiah for this weekend's NCAA Sectional in Grantham, PA. JHU (16-3-3) will face the six-time NCAA Champion Falcons (20-1-0) in the Sweet 16 Saturday at 5:00 pm. The other sectional game will feature Rochester (13-1-3) and Wesleyan (CT) (12-1-5).

Hopkins is making its second consecutive and eighth overall appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16. The Blue Jays advanced to the sectional with a win over Misericordia (2-0) and a 5-3 penalty kick shootout win at Salisbury. The Falcons earned a first-round bye and then defeated Brockport, 3-1, in the second round. This will be the fourth meeting between the two programs, with all three previous meetings coming in the NCAA Tournament. The two last met in the 2006 sectional finals, with the Falcons winning 2-1 on a late goal.

Rochester is coming off a 3-0 win over Plattsburgh State in the second round and will take on Wesleyan at 7:30 pm in the second game Saturday night. Wesleyan defeated St. Joseph's (ME), 2-0, in the first round and then advanced via penalty kick (5-4) over Western New England. Saturday's winners will meet in the sectional final at 6:00 pm on Sunday with a trip to San Antonio and the Final Four on the line.
