Hopkins Men's Soccer Earns Top Seed In ECAC Tournament Nov. 5, 2001 Baltimore, MD - The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team was selected to the ECAC Tournament on Monday, the conference announced. The Blue Jays received the No. 1 seed in the Mid-Atlantic Region and will play the winner of Wednesday's Moravian vs. Grove City game Saturday at 2 p.m. on the campus of Western Maryland College. The Green Terror received the No. 2 seed and will host the semifinals and finals on Saturday and Sunday. On Wednesday No. 3 seed Franklin & Marshall will host No. 6 seed Frostburg State and No. 4 seed Moravian will host No. 5 seed Grove City. Western Maryland will play the winner of the Franklin & Marshall-Frostburg State game Saturday at 11 a.m., while Hopkins will play the winner of the Moravian-Grove City game at 2 p.m. The championship game will be Sunday at 1 p.m. Hopkins is 15-3 this season after falling to Gettysburg, 2-1, in the Centennial Conference Semifinals Friday at Homewood Field. 2001 ECAC Division III Men's Soccer Mid-Atlantic Soccer Championship First Round - Wednesday, November 7 No. 6 Frostburg State (12-6-1) at No. 3 Franklin & Marshall (10-4), 2:30 p.m. No. 5 Grove City (13-6-1) at No. 4 Moravian (12-5-2), 2 p.m. Semifinals - Saturday, November 10 No. 2 Western Maryland (14-5) vs. Franklin & Marshall-Frostburg State, 11 a.m. No. 1 Johns Hopkins (15-3) vs. Moravian-Grove City, 2 p.m. Championship Game - Sunday, November 11 Two Semifinal Winners, 1 p.m.
