Jacobs and See Honored by Centennial Conference
LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins senior Bryan See and sophomore Connor Jacobs have been honored by the Centennial Conference for their performances last week. See has been named the Defensive Player of the Week while Jacobs has been selected as the Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
In its only game of the week, Hopkins defeated visiting Dickinson, 3-0, on Friday night to clinch the Centennial Conference regular season title and the top seed in the conference tournament. See stopped all four shots he faced, including a three-shot flurry in the game's first 12 minutes, against Dickinson. The Red Devils were the league's top scoring team entering the game, averaging 2.75 goals per game. See leads the conference in save percentage (.915), goals against average (0.23) and shutouts (11).
Jacobs scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the Blue Jays’ win over the Red Devils. The two goals are a career high for the defender. Jacobs is tied for seventh in the league in assists (5) and is tied for 11th in points (11).
Hopkins is back in action on Friday, November 3 in the Centennial Conference semifinals. Hopkins will face the winner of Haverford and Dickinson at 5:00 pm at Homewood Field.
