Johns Hopkins Men's Soccer Drops To No. 13 In NSCAA Poll Oct. 22, 2001 Mission, KS - After dropping a match last week at Richard Stockton, the Johns Hopkins men's soccer team fell two spots to No. 13 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll. Hopkins lost at Richard Stockton, 4-2, Wednesday before rebounding with a 5-0 shutout at Dickinson Saturday. The Blue Jays remained in the No. 2 spot in the Mid-Atlantic Region, behind only Messiah, which stayed at No. 1 despite losing last week. Messiah did drop to No. 2 nationally, behind Williams College. St. Lawrence, Claremont Mudd-Scripps, and Kean rounded out the top five. Hopkins returns to action Wednesday when the Blue Jays travel to Gettysburg, ranked sixth in the region, for a 3:30 p.m. start. AGATE NSCAA/adidas Division III National Rankings (Oct. 22): 1.
