LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins men's soccer forward David Drake (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday. It is the second time in the sophomore's career that he has earned the honor.

Drake scored two goals, including the game-winner, to lead 17th-ranked Johns Hopkins past Ursinus, 3-1 on Saturday. After missing six games due to injury, he has come back to score four times in the last six matches. Drake ranks fourth on the team in goals (4) and points (9).

Johns Hopkins hosts Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, Oct. 25 as the Blue Jays look to clinch a spot in the Centennial Conference playoffs. The Blue Jays are 11-2-2 overall and sit atop the conference standings with a 5-0-1 record and 16 points. Game time is set for 1:00 pm at Homewood Field.
