Johns Hopkins Men's Soccer Moves Up To No. 11 In NSCAA Poll Oct. 8, 2001 Mission, KS - The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 11 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll released Monday. The Blue Jays defeated No. 19 Drew, 4-1, Saturday at Homewood Field to win their seventh straight match. Matthew Doran (Stormville, NY/John Jay) scored a goal and two assists in the victory, and Chad Tarabolous (Tulsa, OK/Cascia Hall) added a goal and an assist. Messiah College remained undefeated and stayed in the top spot, followed by Williams College, Kean University, Claremont Mudd-Scripps, and St. Lawrence University. The Blue Jays also remained No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic Region, trailing only Messiah. Hopkins returns to action Wednesday at 4 p.m. when the Blue Jays host Haverford.
