The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team again moved up in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Poll, and is the No.9 ranked team in this week's poll.
The Blue Jays remained unbeaten on Saturday, defeating King's College, 5-0, at Homewood Field. Matthew Doran (Stormville, NY/John Jay) scored two goals and added an assist in the victory. Hopkins is now 3-0 on the season, outscoring its opponents, 14-1.
Defending champion Messiah remained in the top spot for the third consecutive week, followed by Rowan, which knocked the Blue Jays out of the 2000 NCAA Tournament. Williams was No. 3, followed by Christopher Newport, Trinity, Kalamazoo, Hamilton, Claremont Mudd-Scripps, Hopkins, and Kean.
The Blue Jays, who are No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic Region behind only Messiah, host Arcadia at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
