LANCASTER, PA - Junior forward Scott Bukoski (Sagamore, MA/Bourne) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Blue Jay Classic. It is the fourth time in his career that he has earned the honor.
Bukoski was named the MVP of the Blue Jay Classic after scoring five times in a pair of victories as Johns Hopkins captured the tournament title. He tallied his first career hat trick in the 3-0 win against Buffalo State and added two more in the 3-1 triumph versus Susquehanna. Bukoski's hat trick came in just 6:55 and is the seventh fastest in NCAA Division III history. His five goals were more than any other team scored in the tournament.
Johns Hopkins (3-0-0) returns to action on Wednesday, September 9 when Neumann College visits Homewood Field. Game time is slated for 7:00 pm.
