BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins men's soccer head coach Craig Appleby announced his 2010 recruiting class today, which includes 13 players from eight states as well as England. The following 13 players look to strengthen a squad that returns eight starters from its successful 2009 campaign. Last season, Hopkins won its eighth Centennial Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.

Coming to the Homewood Campus this fall are John Belanger (Guilford, CT/Loomis Chaffee), Zach Carter (Allison Park, PA/Hampton), Sean Coleman (Stratham, NH/Exeter/UNH), Chris Douglas (London, England/American School in London), Drake Fisher (Hickory, NC/Hickory), Samuel Glassman (West Hartford, CT/Kingswood-Oxford School), Noah Guiberson (Houston, TX/Westchester Academy), Gus Ingaglio (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven), Patrick Lawson (Rosemont, PA/Harriton), Thomas Mourmouras (Biddeford, ME/Cheverus Jesuit Prep), Alvin Onyewuenyi (Houston, TX/Lamar Consolidated), Birin Padam (Lexington, MA/Belmont Hill School) and Danny Reategui (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run).

5'9", 150lbs

Two-time captain and four-year varsity letter winner... First Team All-Pennsylvania selection and team MVP as a junior... helped his club team claim U17 PPA regular season, Premier Region E and Premier National Championships in 2009... place kicker on high school football team... also played tennis... serves as Director of U10 Player Development in the Hampton Youth Soccer Association.

Played two years at the University of New Hampshire... UNH Rookie of the Year 2008... scored three goals and adding four assists in 32 games for the Wildcats... scored 37 goals to lead Exeter to a state title as a junior and a semifinal berth as a senior... two-time all-state... led New Hampshire Class L in goals as a junior... played football, basketball and baseball in addition to soccer... helped football team to a state title in 2007.

Vice-president of the Medical and Debate Clubs at Westchester.

Greenberg Memorial Leadership Award and team MVP as a senior... two-time Male Athlete of the Year at Harriton... played club for Lower Merion Velez since U9... helped team to two Eastern PA state titles, a Region 1, Region 1 Premier League and National League championships... made two appearances at USYSA Nationals, finishing sixth in 2008 and third in 2009.
