Blue Jays Host Knights, Visit Garnet This Week

2011: Played 17 games and started five • scored in win at Goucher. 2010: Played 21 games and started 20 • scored first career goal, the game-winnner, at Neumann. 2009: Played 22 games and started 20, tallying one assist • notched first career assist on game-winning goal against #18 Dickinson • converted the clinching PK in shootout at Salisbury in the NCAA Second Round. 2008: Played nine games in rookie season after transfering from Loyola • made collegiate debut against Buffalo State. Personal: Anthony M. D. Gass • son of Michael Gass and Cristina Dolcino • born April 17, 1989 • father played football and ran track at St. Olaf College • mom played field hockey and was a cross country skier at the University of New Hampshire • volunteers with family and church members at an orphanage in Guatemala • three-time all-state selection • scored 41 goals and tallied 42 assists in three seasons at Oyster River • also ran track and won a state championship as a member of the indoor track team at Oyster River • played club soccer for Seacoast United • interned with the Johns Hopkins School of Publich Health, working for Baltimore Healthy Eating Zones Program • presented at the 2011 Experimental Biology Conference in Washington and at the JHU Undergraduate Public Health Conference • majoring in biology and public health.
