2014 Johns Hopkins Boys' Lacrosse Camps

Featuring instruction from members of the Johns Hopkins University Men's Lacrosse staff and select college players and coaches, the boys' lacrosse camps at Johns Hopkins offer a spot for everyone. From high school players looking to enhance their ability to youngsters just getting started, these camps are designed to teach the game and provide a positive experience for each camper. 

Blue Jays Lacrosse Camp
Blue Jays Lacrosse Camp is an instructional overnight camp that combines practice drills and station work with recruiting and real in-game experience for boys age 12 through those entering their senior year in high school. Campers are placed according to ability, size, and/or skill level in order to provide the most competitive and enriching environment for each camper. Each full day features three active lacrosse sessions along with instructional talks from coaches and staff.

Session III Check In Information

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Check-in is from 10:00 am-11:30am on Sunday, July 20th outside of Wolman Residence Hall and Charles Street Market. Lunch is the first meal provided for the participants.

Check-out will be in the same location on Wednesday, July 23rd from 11:00am-12:00pm with breakfast being the last meal provided to participants.

Please note due to limited space in the Wolman Residence Hall area, you will be permitted to pull in and unload belongings only. You will then need to move your car to street parking if you need to stay longer. Please note that street parking is limited due to construction on North Charles Street.

Charles Street will be under construction and detours will be posted re-routing traffic. Please refer to the Charles Street reconstruction website, in order to prepare for your arrival and navigation around the campus area. http://fm.jhu.edu/charlesstreetconstruction

 

DIRECTIONS

FOR GPS, PLEASE USE 3506 GREENWAY, BALTIMORE, MD 21218.
This is the address for Rogers House, and will put you onto Greenway where the line for drop off/check-in will begin. University personnel will be directing traffic.

FROM THE NORTH (I-83):

Take I-83 to Cold Spring Lane Exit.  Go left off exit ramp heading East on Cold Spring Lane.  At the third light turn right onto Roland Avenue.  After a 1/2 mile, bear left at the fork in the road onto University Parkway.  You will pass Homewood Field on your right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of University Parkway and Saint Paul Street. Make a right onto Saint Paul Street and an immediate right onto Greenway. Proceed on Greenway and turn left on 34th Street. Wolman Hall will be on your right once you are on 34th Street.  You may drop campers off and unload luggage on 34th Street but there is no parking on that street.

FROM THE WEST:

Take Route 40 or I-70 to 695 North.  Exit at I-83 South and follow the above directions.

FROM THE NORTH (I-95):

Take I-95 South to I-695 West.  Exit at I-83 South and follow the above directions.

FROM THE SOUTH:

Drive north on I-95. DO NOT take the Harbor Tunnel or Beltway exits. Follow the signs to downtown Baltimore (the signs will say "Inner Harbor-Use 395 North" and "395 North, Right Lanes"). The city skyline will be to the left. Take the exits marked "395 North Downtown" and "395 Downtown/Inner Harbor." Turn RIGHT at Conway Street (first traffic light). Proceed two blocks to Charles Street; turn LEFT. Follow Charles Street north approximately eight miles. Turn RIGHT on 28th Street. Proceed two lights and make a left on Calvert Street.  Take Calvert Street six blocks and make a left on University Pkwy and then a left at the light (St. Paul Street). Make an immediate right onto Greenway. Proceed on Greenway and turn left on 34th Street. Wolman Hall will be on your right once you are on 34th Street.  You may drop campers off and unload luggage on 34th Street but there is no parking on that street.

PARKING OPTIONS FOR DROP OFF ON SUNDAY, JULY 20TH:

- Metered Street Parking on Greenway (up to 2 hours)

- Metered Street Parking on St. Paul and surrounding streets other than 34th St. (Please check the signs and meters)

- Garage Parking at Union Memorial B Parking Garage on 34th Street, East of St. Paul St. (This lot is not available on Wednesday for pick-up)

- Baltimore City Parking lot at 33rd and St. Paul St. To access this lot, follow St. Paul St. and turn right on 32nd St.  Turn right at Lovegrove Alley.  The lot will be at the end of the alley on your right, enclosed by a fence.
