Johns Hopkins Men's Lacrosse Fall Notebook
BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse team is in its third week of fall practice and has two marquee events quickly approaching. The Blue Jays’ 50-man squad will host an event through the HEADStrong Foundation on Sunday, October 9 with the team’s annual alumni game to follow six days later. Admission will not be charged for either event, although donations to the HEADStrong Foundation will be accepted at Homewood Field on October 9.
“While we are certainly looking forward to our upcoming competition and renewing our partnership with the HEADStrong Foundation, our day-to-day focus right now is really centered on building a foundation for the 2017 season,” head coach Dave Pietramala noted. “We have spent a lot of time teaching, implementing our offensive and defensive systems and building a cohesive team over the last several weeks. The players are working very hard and have been dedicated to each other and improving every day.”
