BALTIMORE, MD - Fans of the Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team will get their first chance to see the 2009 edition of the Blue Jays in action on Sunday, October 5 when Hopkins hosts the second annual Blue Jay Fall Classic. A total of six teams will compete with each team scheduled to play two games. All six games will be played at the St. Paul's School in Brooklandville, Maryland.

Head coach Dave Pietramala and the Blue Jays will welcome Harvard, Navy, North Carolina, Penn State and Stony Brook to the Blue Jay Classic. Games will take place on three fields with two scheduled start times. The matchups and start times for the day are as follows:

Sunday, October 5, 2008
St. Paul's School

Set 1 (11 am)
Harvard vs. Navy
Johns Hopkins vs. Penn State
Stony Brook vs. North Carolina

Set 2 (1:30 pm)
Johns Hopkins vs. Harvard
North Carolina vs. Penn State
Stony Brook vs. Navy

There is no charge to attend the Blue Jay Fall Classic.
