BALTIMORE, MD - Game time for the Johns Hopkins-Notre Dame men's lacrosse game in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament has been set for 7:30 pm on Saturday, May 12 it was officially announced Monday morning. The game is the fourth of four first-round games that will take place on Saturday and the game will air live on ESPNU from Homewood Field. Four other first round games will take place on Sunday, May 13. All first round games take place on the campus of one of the participating institutions.

Tickets for the Hopkins-Notre Dame are also now on sale. Ticket prices are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students at Johns Hopkins or Notre Dame (with proper ID), kids 12 and under and senior citizens (62 and over). Tickets can be ordered in advance by calling the Johns Hopkins Department of Athletics at 410/516-7490 during regular business hours today (May 7) through Friday (May 11). Tickets will go on sale on Saturday at 6:00 pm at Homewood Field. Tickets will not be available for sale on Saturday prior to 6:00 pm.

Johns Hopkins (9-4) and Notre Dame (11-3) are meeting for the fifth time in a series that dates to a 15-7 Blue Jay win in the first round of the 1992 NCAA Tournament. All four previous meetings have come in the NCAA Tournament with Johns Hopkins winning three of the four. Notre Dame won the last meeting, 13-9, in the 2001 NCAA Quarterfinals.

The winner of the Johns Hopkins-Notre Dame game will play the winner of the Georgetown-Princeton game in the NCAA Quarterfinals on Saturday, May 19 at Princeton. The time of that game will be announced on Monday, May 14.
