Blue Jays Jump Into Top Five in USILA, Maverik Media Polls

Blue Jays Ranked 5th in USILA Poll, 6th in Maverik Media Poll
Johns Hopkins edged up from sixth to fifth in the USILA Coaches Poll and moved from sixth to fourth in the Maverik Media Poll. The Johns Hopkins Athletic Communications Office uses the USILA Poll to reflect Johns Hopkins’ official national ranking at the time of game; this is the 308th time in 473 all-time polls dating back to 1973 that Johns Hopkins has been ranked in the top five in the nation.

Johns Hopkins (8-2, 2-0 B1G) hits the road this Saturday for another Big Ten game as the Blue Jays travel to Penn State (7-4, 1-1 B1G) to take on the 15th-ranked Nittany Lions. Faceoff is set for 2 pm with a live national television audience on the ESPNU.
