Johns Hopkins Announces Men's Lacrosse Schedule Changes
April 1, 2006 BALTIMORE, MD - Tom Calder, Director of Athletics at Johns Hopkins University, has announced two changes to the upcoming Blue Jay men's lacrosse schedule. The Johns Hopkins-Duke game, scheduled for Saturday, April 8 in Durham, has been postponed with no scheduled makeup date announced. Calder also announced that the Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team will host Mount St. Mary's on Monday, April 3 at 7:00 pm at Homewood Field. There will be no admission fee for the game between Johns Hopkins and Mount St. Mary's.
The meeting with the Mountaineers will be the first in school history. Johns Hopkins and Mount St. Mary's (1-6) have had one common opponent thus far this season as both teams dropped decisions at top-ranked Virginia. Johns Hopkins (3-3) will host North Carolina later today at Homewood Field (1:00 pm) and the addition of the game against Mount St. Mary's ensures the Blue Jays will play 12 regular season games.
