BALTIMORE, MD -- High school boy's lacrosse teams planning to attend this week's Johns Hopkins-Loyola men's lacrosse game may do so for free. The Blue Jays and Greyhounds are set to meet on Saturday, February 18 (1 pm) at historic Homewood Field in a matchup featuring two teams ranked in the top 10 in the nation.

Coaches of high school teams interested in attending should contact Krista Wilson ( or 410/516-5028) immediately. She will provide a Will Call form to each coach and the coach will then add the names of all players and coaches planning to attend.

The individuals listed will gain free entry into the game by signing in at Player Will Call on game day (this entrance is located near the parking lot of the US Lacrosse Building). Individuals must have proper ID (driver's license or student ID) and each individual is limited to their own individual ticket.

Gates will open at 11:30 am on Saturday and the long-range forecast is currently calling for temperatures near 60. A large crowd is expected for the game and fans are encouraged to arrive early.

Johns Hopkins (2-0) and Loyola (0-1) are meeting for the 54th time in a series that dates to 1939. The series is one of the most competitive in college lacrosse as the last 10 meetings have been decided by a total of just 21 goals.
