Blue Jays Ranked 13th in Maverik Media Preseason Poll

BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team has earned a fourth top-15 preseason national ranking as the Blue Jays check in at number 13 in the Maverik Media Poll, which was announced today. The Blue Jays open the 2018 season on Saturday, February 10 against Towson at Homewood Field (6 pm).

In addition to the number 13 ranking in the media poll, the Blue Jays were ranked 11th in the USILA and Face-Off Yearbook Preseason Polls; Johns Hopkins was also ranked 13th by Lacrosse Magazine in its 2018 preseason poll.

The Maverik Media Poll reads like a copy of the 2018 Johns Hopkins schedule as the Blue Jays will play 10 games against teams ranked in the top 20 and another against a team listed as receiving votes.
