2008: Played in all 17 games on defense and got the start eight times (Matt Bocklet was the starter, but played the wing on faceoffs ... DeVore is credited with the start as he opened the game on close defense) • Had six ground balls on the year and saw increased playing time as the season progressed • Key contributor to a defense that was solid against the opposition's starting attack • In 17 games the starting attack units the Blue Jays faced totaled just 55 goals and 29 assists (an average of 4.94 points per game) • JHU also finished 19th in the nation in scoring defense after ranking as low as 49th at one point in early April.
