Entering his first season as a member of the Johns Hopkins coaching staff is Mark Robinson, a 2003 Johns Hopkins graduate and a four-year member of the Blue Jay football team. Robinson will coach the Johns Hopkins running backs.

Robinson was a key member of the 2002 Johns Hopkins team that set a then school-record with nine wins, while claiming a share of the program's first-ever Centennial Conference title. The Blue Jays also won the ECAC Southwest Championship in 2002.

Robinson earned Honorable Mention All-Centennial honors in 2002 as he led the team with 14 pass breakups and finished seventh on the team in tackles (43) from his cornerback spot.
