Hoboken, NJ - The Johns Hopkins men's fencing team improved to 13-6 on the season with a 16-11 win over Stevens Tech and a 24-3 victory over New Jersey Tech Saturday in Hoboken.

The Hopkins foil team combined to go 18-0 in the two duals, as Daniel Frank (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck), Brian Bishe' (Glen Ridge, NJ/Montclair Kimberley Academy), and Emanuel Strauss (New York, NY/U.N. International School) each went a perfect 6-0.

Matt Bouloubasis (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) won all five of his duals in the epee, while Alex Sinofsky (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) went 4-2 and Dave Kotlyar (Holland, PA/Council Rock) finished 2-4 in the epee.

In the sabre, Sampreet Niyogi (Voorhees, NJ/The Lawrenceville School) and Ryan Schwerzmann (Watertown, NY/Watertown) both went 4-2, while James Chen (Boston, MA/Lawrenceville School) finished 3-3.

The Blue Jays return to action on Sunday, Februray 3, when Hopkins travels to Easton, PA, to take on host Lafayette, Haverford, and Cornell.
