PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Johns Hopkins varsity and novice men competed at the Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta last weekend, winning the Open Double and College Varsity Eight races and placing second in the Frosh/Novice event.

Teddy Drivas and Chris Vaglia won the Men's Open Double with a time of 7:48.24, while teammates Barry Tong and Wesley Fredericks placed fourth (8:06.91) and Matt Hart and Robert Mattina finished fifth (8:22.37).

The same six Blue Jays joined teammates Josiah Drewien, Lukasz Bugaj, and Peter Ryan to win the College Varsity Eight at 6:49.04.

Just one Johns Hopkins novice boat raced at the Frostbite, where Brigitte Warner, Michael Dewane, Chris Viemeister, John O'Donnell, Prasanna Chandrasekhar, Ben DiPardo, Taylor Reese, Mike Godar, and James Robinson (7:54.89) placed second behind Delaware (7:43.42).
