LORTON, VA - The Johns Hopkins' men and women's crew teams competed at the Occoquan Sprints in Lorton, VA with a mix of Division I and Division III schools. The Blue Jays return to action at the Knecht Cup in Camden, NJ April 8-9, 2006.
In the Men's Novice Eight, Hopkins finished second in the petite final in a time of 7:44.76. Williams finished first in 7:31.90. The University of Maryland finished first in the Grand Final with a time of 7:01.40. In the Men's Varsity Eight, Hopkins finished fourth in the Grand Final with a time of 6:49.67. Williams finished first with a time of 6:28.0.
