BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins men's basketball coach Josh Loeffler has announced the dates for the Johns Hopkins Basketball Skills Camp. The camp, which is open for boys and girls ages 7 to 16, is scheduled for August 7-10.
The camp will take place in Goldfarb Gym, the O'Connor Recreation Center and the Auxiliary Gym on the campus of Johns Hopkins University. It will run Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm (lunch is not included). Pre and after-care are available for an extra charge. Pre-care runs from 8 am to 9 pm and after-care from 12 pm to 1 pm. Each camper will receive a camp tee shirt.
Attendees will work with the Johns Hopkins Men's Basketball coaching staff in a personalized setting focused on developing age appropriate skills that will allow for a great upcoming season. The camp will develop each individual using a skill progression - each camper will leave with a better understanding of the fundamentals and details that are key in reaching the camper’s full potential. Ball handling, shooting, passing and offensive concepts will be touched upon daily. The camp will build up to game play in small sided and 5-on-5 settings.
