John Andrzejek is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Johns Hopkins men's basketball team. He comes to Hopkins after serving as the director of basketball operations at San Francisco for 2016-17. While with the Dons, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the program, including budget, travel, academic progress and advance scouting. Last season, USF had the most wins (20) in four years and the most under a first-year head coach since 1981. Andrzejek went west after serving as director of operations at his alma mater, Columbia.
Andrzejek graduated from Columbia in just two and a half years with a degree in philosophy. While an undergrad, he served as a team manager and assistant to the director of operations for the Lions.
