BOYERTOWN, Pa. -- The top-seeded Johns Hopkins Blue Jays (35-8) will play third-seeded DeSales University (31-9) in an elimination game when play resumes at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Baseball Championships later today. The game, orginally scheduled for a 3:00 pm start, will now begin at 8:30 pm due to the heavy rains that swept through the Mid-Atlantic Region Friday night and Saturday morning.

Sixth-seeded College of New Jersey (32-12) will play fifth-seeded Alvernia (35-8) in the winner's bracket at 5:00 pm. The loser of that game will play the winner of the Johns Hopkins-DeSales game in the first game on Sunday. The winner of the CNJ-Alvernia game advances to the second game Sunday and will need to be beaten twice to be eliminated.

Johns Hopkins lost to CNJ, 6-2 in the opening round of the tournament before bouncing back with an 8-4 win over second-seeded Kean in an elimination game Friday morning.
