BALTIMORE, MD - With a doubleheader sweep against Ursinus on Monday, the Johns Hopkins baseball team earned the top seed for the Centennial Conference (CC) Baseball Tournament this weekend. The Blue Jays, 29-5 overall, earned the top seed after posting a 16-2 mark in conference play. As the top seed, JHU will host games on Saturday and Sunday.

This afternoon, No. 4 seed Muhlenberg (19-12-1, 10-7-1) travels to face the third seed McDaniel Green Terror (18-10-1, 12-5-1) in Westminster, Maryland at 3:30 p.m. The winner advances to play No. 2 seed Ursinus (22-11-1, 12-5-1) at Hopkins on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Blue Jays will then face the winner of Saturday's first game in a best-of-three series, with one game on Saturday and possibly two on Sunday. A complete schedule of games is listed below

The winner of the Centennial Conference Tournament receives an automatic bid to the 2003 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament. Hopkins will be looking for its third straight conference title, sixth overall, and 12th NCAA Tournament appearance. Ursinus has three Centennial titles to its credit.

Game No. 1 - No. 4 Seed Muhlenberg (19-12-1) at No. 3 Seed McDaniel (18-10-1), 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 3 (at Johns Hopkins):
Game No. 2 - Winner of Game 1 vs. No. 2 Seed Ursinus (22-11-1), 11:00 a.m.
Game No. 3 - Winner of Game 2 at No. 1 Seed Johns Hopkins (29-5) (best 2-of-3), 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 4 (at Johns Hopkins):
Game No. 4 - Johns Hopkins vs. Winner of Game 2, 12:00 p.m.
Game No. 5 - Winner of Game 2 at Johns Hopkins, 20 minutes after conclusion of Game 4 (if necessary)
