BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins baseball team moved up five spots to sixth in the latest American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division III poll released on Monday. The Blue Jays (26-4) received 200 points and are the lone Centennial Conference school in the top-30.

Hopkins, which is also ranked first in the Mid-Atlantic region, was previously ranked sixth in the second poll of the season on March 31 before falling to 11th in the last poll. The Blue Jays have posted a 9-0 record since the previous poll on April 14, including eight wins in league play.

The Blue Jays defeated McDaniel (15-3, 8-1) and Washington College (32-2, 8-0) twice, swept doubleheaders against Haverford (10-0, 2-1) and Muhlenberg (6-1, 3-2) and topped Ville Julie, 10-5, in non-conference action.

Hopkins returns to action Tuesday as the Blue Jays travel to face Montclair State in a non-conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
